This past May, we partnered with Paws of War, a local nonprofit that supports veterans and active military by uniting them with shelter animals in need of homes.
In support of their mission, we set up special donation bins in our branches, where members and SCU employees were encouraged to donate eligible pet supplies.
We’re happy to announce that we collected over 250 items, including:
- Dog & cat food and treats
- Blankets
- Bowls
- Cleaning supplies
- Treats
Michele Dean, CEO and President of Suffolk Credit Union, stated “These brave, dedicated people contribute profoundly to our sense of safety and quality of life. We support and salute them, not just in May, but all year long!”
