Looking Back on a Great Year of Giving!

Thanks to the generous contributions of our members throughout 2023, Suffolk Credit Union was able to donate over $140,000 to several organizations doing amazing work in our Long Island communities.

2nd Annual Toy Drive

Through our 2nd Annual #SuffolkSmiles Holiday Toy Drive in December, we delivered hundreds of toys to local children in need and supported our charitable partners New York Cancer & Blood Specialists/New York Cancer Foundation and Mondays at Racine.


Volunteers & Support

In the spring, we began sponsoring Mondays at Salon B, providing volunteers and resources to support whole-person wellness and beauty services for Long Islanders undergoing cancer treatment.

Other recipients this year included: Paws of War, Helping Makes U Happy, Cohen Children's Medical Center, Beyond the Puzzle and New York Marine Rescue Center.

Back-to-School Brigade®

We took part in the Back-to-School Brigade® by collecting and distributing free backpacks and school supplies, and raised over $6,500 for this program. 

 

College Scholarships

Ahead of the fall semester, we were proud to award scholarships totaling $37,500 to nine students entering Suffolk County Community College.
